Have you ever seen an ad for a show while you are driving to an audition and thought “aw man I want to go see this?” But when you go online to look for tickets, you find out that the show is tonight and that it is all sold out! Well, I have a solution for you that I have personally used a dozen times and it works like a charm (a lucky charm, that is!) it is an application called TonightTix and it is amazing when you are feeling lucky.

      This application allows you to enter into a lottery to win tickets for whatever show you may be feeling that night! You simply look on the app, find a show that you are interested in seeing (they range from concerts to movies, to special performances, musicals, and plays) and fill out your information, and then you cross your fingers and hope you are chosen!

      Sometimes when you win, the tickets are totally free and yours to take, and other times you need to pay a small fee for them (usually around $20, I haven’t seen tickets for much more than that, though). It is pretty awesome and a lifesaver if you are looking for something to do last minute on a Friday night. I have seen some great shows because of this awesome application and I highly suggest it to anyone looking to see more art!
