There are so many diets that celebrities rave and rage about that its difficult to keep up. But, if you are able to fathom keeping up with a fraction of these dietary restrictions and repressions, you may not be disappointed at how crazy and hilarious some of them are. Although they can be funny, the majority of these celebrity diets do work, and although they work, they should probably not be essayed unless they are under the close supervision of a doctor… or at least another friend doing the same one.
Here are some of my “favorite” celeb diets. They range from crazy to imaginable, but never the less, fun to entertain the idea of:
– Anne Hathaway: In preparation of her role as Fantine in the spectacular movie musical Les Miserables is said to have only eaten three squares of oatmeal paste per day which resulted in her losing somewhere around 30 pounds. What are oatmeal paste squares? The internet may never know…
– Christian Bale: For his famous role in The Machinist, Bale ate one apple and one can of tuna fish per day. He was said to have also drank a lot of coffee and smoked one too many packs of cigarettes. He lost upwards of 40 pounds.
– Elizabeth Hurley: When she needs to lose weight for a role, drinks (or eats) nothing other than watercress soup six times a day.
– Jennifer Aniston: In an interview said that she stocks up on baby food and eats nothing but that in preparation for some of her roles in film.

Those are some of the craziest celebrity diets I have seen to date. Sure, they work for the most part, but does that mean that they should be done? Probably not… Are they healthy? I’m going to guess no…
