I recently purchased a gimbal for use in a personal project because we wanted to film on an iPhone, but we didn’t want the footage to look so very hand-held. I did a lot of research online and wanted to find the one that would best serve our purposes. The DJI Osmo pretty much came out on top, and we decided it would be our best option, so we went to our local tech store and bought it. We have been filming on it for a few weeks now, and I felt like it would be the right time to do a review on it, as I am now familiar enough with it.
This was an excellent purchase and overall I am very happy with it! The technology of the machine is excellent, working with my phone to create the exact effects I want to go for. I was able to use the Gimbal to zoom in and out, start and stop the recording, and change the tilt of the camera without a problem. I love how the footage has been looking, and there is nothing about it that I would think to change or alter.
I purchased this for around $300, and depending on what you are allowing yourself to spend on a device like this, I would say that this seems like a competitive cost that is worth it for the quality I am getting out of it. I would highly suggest this product to anyone out there looking to create their own content, as it makes your content look way higher quality and really sets it apart from the rest of the self-created content out there.
