As actors, we all have big dreams for the holiday season that probably involve booking a major job, finally making the movie of our dreams, and getting a national commercial that will pay for us to make the movie of our dreams. If your Santa Claus is anything like mine, he has, for some odd reason, had some trouble stuffing those things down your chimney, and you have had to come up with some other things to ask for.
If you are stuck here and need help figuring out what Christmas presents you should be asking for that could further your career, look no further! Here are some ideas for presents that could benefit you AND your acting career!

-Yeti USB Microphone: for those self tape auditions that need to sound professional grade (which, lets be real, is all of them) you need a microphone. This one is great because it plugs into any USB port and gives you amazing audio. The sound won’t ever distract the casting directors from your amazing audition piece ever again!

-Backdrop for filming: A backdrop is another thing a lot of actors need but don’t have. It will allow you to have a great professional feeling to any self-tape and also allows for better lighting set up so that you can make yourself look like a total beautiful piece of art, which you are!

-A month of an acting class: might I suggest a class you haven’t been taking or a workshop you have been interested in. There are so many classes out there and you may just find that you enjoy one that you never thought you would… that or you could end up hating it. Might as well try another class out!

-A website: This is just a no-brainer for any actors out there. You need a website! You need to be able to point casting directors, agents, managers, and everyone else out there to one place to find out everything you have to offer. We may be biased, but we think the best place to offer you this might just be My Acting Site… 😉

Enjoy your Christmas and this holiday season! It’ll bring great things, we can feel it!
