When you have a website as an actor it is important that you update your site regularly. You want to let people know how well you’re doing and how great your acting career is going. The only way to keep people in the loop on how you are doing is to keep your website as up to date as possible and promote it as much as you can. When you promote your website, more people know you and want to help you in your career.

Just as you would keep your headshot and resume up to date, you would want to keep your website up to date as well.

 

TIPS ON PROMOTING YOURSELF:

-Put your link up on facebook. Make sure that your friends know it is YOUR acting website and that they should check it out

-Put the link on twitter. Tell your followers to retweet it and say their favorite thing about it.

-Email the link to your agents and managers!

-Put your website on your resume so that all casting directors can see it if they are interested in looking you up.

-Add your website in your signature on your email so that when you email people, it is included in your email and the people you send emails to will see it.
