With the eight week of improvisation classes at UCB Sunset shortly coming to an end (this weekend, in fact is our class show!!!) I have gotten to do an abundance of pretty fun and entertaining improv, and have learned some good tricks to use for future improvisation that I take part in. Although at the beginning I was weary of entering into the beginners class, I do have to give credence and credit to where it is due because it was a genuinely fun class to be in. I met a lot of cool people that I have used in projects of my own and that I will undoubtedly continue being friends with!
Overall, it was an interesting experience, although it is not one that I am certain I want to do again. I had a very entertaining time, but truth be told it was truly a beginner’s class and I did not learn much in the way of playing improve games. That being said, it is always a valuable experience to get to practice the art that you enjoy creating and I am glad that I took the class. I am very excited for the show!
