It’s a funny thing, but as an actor, there are certain things that you need to be more conscientious about and continually keeping up, especially when you want to be booking work (which is always)! Here is a small list of things that you should always have the time and schedule for so that you can maintain your image the best you possibly can to continually be stepping up your game and your career.

1.             Keep you hair looking like your headshot. This is the only image that casting directors have regarding you and it is important that you keep yourself looking the same as that!
2.             Nails. Your nails should be groomed. There are so many auditions where you have to show them your hands and nails that are all bitten and not groomed are not very attractive.
3.             Maintain your body. Keep yourself feeling comfortable in your own skin, no matter what size that is at.
4.             Keeping headshots with you. I like to keep some headshots and resumes tucked away in my car. I get auditions last minute occasionally and it is always important to have a headshot and resume on hand!
