Recently I got my headshots redone by someone who my agents suggested (always remember to get suggestions from your agent for everything acting related!) The outcome was AMAZING. I was so unbelievably happy with these new photos that putting them up online on LA Casting, Casting Frontier, and Actors Access, which is usually the thing that I dread the most about headshots and which makes them not-fun, was actually really easy and painless because I got to look at my pretty photos while doing it!!!
Her name is Kumi Olney and she is located in Downtown LA. My headshot session took place at her ultra-hip and very cool apartment building, which was huge, and extremely avant-garde. We went all the way up to the top floor where we opened a door to a staircase outside and sitting there in the hallway, using ALL NATURAL LIGHT, we got “the shot”. Actually we got several “the shots” and my agents could not have been happier with the outcome. The whole experience was fun and not awkward in the way that some headshot sessions can be (we’ve all been there…) and I would highly suggest her to any of you looking for new headshots.
The prices are very reasonable and a plus point is that she will edit photos for you included in your package, an even MORE plus point, for me, is that when my agents saw the photos they told me none of them had to be edited! Something I attribute fully to that natural light… it worked wonders.
