I found a web series (through Backstage which is sort of ironic I thought) about a group of background actors living in New York, aspiring to be the principal actors of the film. Its funny in a way that is relatable, sadly, to many of us other actors. Not to say that the struggle is sad but that the cliché proverbs and sayings that I use are definitely featured in here. Even the ones that I didn’t know were cliché. This web series brought to mind an array of questions that I had never thought about before such as doing extra work when you travel on vacation or for a visit to different places such as New York. Firstly, do people do this? Second, is it a waste of time or is it something that is actually useful and fun? If anyone out there self-submits when they go to other states, please let me know about it. I find it funny that it’s never something I have thought of before, but is something that definitely could be viable!

Also, recently I have been getting a lot of auditions that are self-tape. I discovered that I absolutely love doing these, mainly because I found a company that I really enjoy going to. I want to get an interview with them to get some insight into the whole industry. If you have any questions you’ve always wanted answered, please comment below, tweet us, or post on our wall on Facebook!

For those of you wondering, the web series is called “We Are Stars” and is available for view on YouTube! Check it out because it’s hilarious, and a little bit eye opening, when you think about it!
