When you are preparing for a certain season, AKA Pilot Season which is starting in January (!!!) it is important you are SUPER freakin’ prepared. Yo I want to be as real as possible so that when those amazing and big auditions come in you are ready to rock them and continue achieving your wildest and most amazing dreams and goals. You should be prepping right now. This is the time to start your work and gear up to prepare for what is to come in January, February, and March.

      Something you can do to prepare is watch a lot of whatever it is you usually audition for. If you are someone who usually get auditions for comedies then you should be watching a lot of what is on today; The new season of Will and Grace, Disjointed, The Ranch, New Girl, Blackish, Modern Family, just to name a few great shows on now.

      If you have been auditioning for dramatic shows then you should be watching The Crown, Black Mirror, Twin Peaks, Mr. Robot, Narcos, anything that is on right now that you could possibly be on. There are also dark comedies that you should watch to be ready for that genre of television such as Flea Bag and Catastrophe.

      The reason for this is so that you can get into the mentality of the shows you will be auditioning for and really familiarize yourself with the worlds you will be becoming apart of. Chances are that if a show is on air right now, you will be auditioning for something in a similar vein, because this is obviously what audiences want right now.

      Be ready for anything and make sure you are ready to go when opportunity comes knocking this pilot season!
